HS DM
Keep your aim at head height.
Practice headshots in quick-respawn Deathmatch. The mode uses CS2’s headshot-only damage rule and the normal Deathmatch weapon menu.

Weapons and commands
Use the normal Deathmatch arsenal. The headshot-only damage rule is part of this mode.
In-game chat commands
!guns- Open the Deathmatch weapon selection menu.
!ak- Select the AK-47.
!m4- Select the M4A4.
!m4s- Select the M4A1-S.
Keep your crosshair at head height. This mode has no additional fun modifiers; your saved normal Deathmatch preferences stay unchanged.
How to play
Check current availability or create a private HS DM lobby.
Choose a supported map and prepare a server when capacity is available.
Connect and use !guns to select your weapon. Aim for the head rather than relying on body shots.
Before you join
- The headshot damage rule is built into this variant; no extra modifier needs to be selected.
- Normal Deathmatch weapon choices are available, but your saved normal-mode preferences stay unchanged.
- Additional fun modifiers are unavailable in this variant.
